With a municipal election on the horizon, we’re bringing back Election Connection: a series of chats with local candidates to help people get the most out of voting. It’s a chance to learn more about how municipal government works and what it can do for you, be heard, and access help to make voting go seamlessly.
These will be friendly kitchen table discussions: a chance to listen to each candidate, speak about what’s important to you, and ask questions. Staff are also here as needed to help you check your voter information, register to vote, find your polling location or vote online, and gather the right ID for Election Day.
We’re thrilled so many candidates running for municipal council have accepted our invitation to come meet with community members and hear their questions! These sessions are for anyone. We warmly invite you join us and take advantage of this opportunity to connect, share your views and help shape the future of our County!
